In Virginia, if a person illegally obtains, takes, uses, signs, sells or buys another person's credit card or illegally utilizes credit card information, he may be charged with credit card theft, fraud, and/or forgery.
A person may also be charged with credit card fraud if he uses his own or another person's card (even with authorization) knowing it is revoked or expired.
Additionally, one may be charged with credit card fraud if he knowingly sells goods or services to another person knowing that person is using an illegally obtained credit card or a credit card that is expired or revoked.
