Born and raised in New Jersey, Attorney Christian R. Fernandez moved to the Washington, DC area in 2011 and earned his Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law in 2014. While in law school, Mr. Fernandez was certified by the State of Maryland as a student attorney and actively represented clients in family law and estate planning matters during his third year.
Shortly after graduating, Mr. Fernandez opened a boutique law firm in Arlington, Virginia, where he led the transactional and estate planning divisions of the firm. During this time, Mr. Fernandez became certified by the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission and began working in criminal defense. In early 2018, Mr. Fernandez left his law firm to pursue litigation full time as an associate at a small general practice firm in Fairfax, Virginia. There, Mr. Fernandez represented clients in criminal, civil, family, and employment cases across all of the northern Virginia courts, as well as in the District of Columbia.
Mr. Fernandez is passionate about criminal law and joined Patrick Anderson & Associates, P.C. as an associate to focus his practice exclusively on criminal defense.
Mr. Fernandez is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
