Attorney C.M. Jackson earned her Juris Doctor of law degree from Liberty University School of Law in 2012. Upon graduation from law school, she worked as an associate attorney for the Office of Lavonda Graham Williams, P.C. After serving the citizens of Virginia with the LWG firm for one year, Mrs. Jackson joined the office of the Newport News Public Defender’s Office. She spent almost three years working with indigent clients defending cases that ranged from juvenile status offenses to adult sex offenses. During her tenure with the office, she grew an affinity for working with clients facing intense odds.
An opportunity then presented itself for Mrs. Jackson to serve the citizens of Virginia as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the city of Portsmouth, Virginia. Mrs. Jackson litigated adult and juvenile matters in bench and jury trials.
Prior to earning her law degree, Attorney C.M. Jackson earned her B.A in Legal Communications from Howard University in 2006. She then went on to attend Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. During her time as a seminary student she traveled to Kenya on a mission trip and realized her desire to pursue a law degree and represent individuals that needed legal assistance.
Currently, Mrs. Jackson works as a criminal defense attorney for the Law Offices of Patrick N. Anderson, which focuses entirely on providing a strong legal defense for those who are charged with criminal offenses.
