Attorney David J. Lloyd was born in Fairfax County, Virginia, and grew up in Reston. He attended George Mason University, graduating in 2012 with a degree in Government and International Politics. Mr. Lloyd also earned minors in Business and Psychology. While in college, he also interned with the Department of the Army and worked on policy matters concerning Federal Acquisition Regulation.
In 2012, Mr. Lloyd entered George Mason University School of Law. While attending law school, David interned with the Fairfax County Public Defender’s office, where he gained a substantial interest and deeper understanding of criminal law. Shortly thereafter, he took a position as a law clerk with a local criminal defense firm where he continued his study of criminal law.
After law school, Mr. Lloyd spent a short time at a firm representing Homeowners Associations, but the experience only helped to make him certain his home was in criminal defense. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Lloyd spent a year and a half with a small criminal defense firm practicing criminal and traffic defense. Finally, in August 2018 he joined the team at Patrick Anderson & Associates.
