Attorney Tyler Roth earned his Juris Doctor of law degree from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. During his law school career, Mr. Roth competed in the Advocate’s Cup and the Student Trial Lawyers Association competition. Mr. Roth was an active member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity for which he helped organize events and recruit new members.
In Mr. Roth’s third year of law school, he participated in the esteemed Sturm College of Law Criminal Defense Clinic, one of the premier criminal defense clinics in the country. As a participant, Mr. Roth served as a student attorney representing indigent clients in the greater Denver area who were unable to afford private practice representation. Through the clinic, Mr. Roth conducted a jury trial and earned a not guilty verdict for one of his clients.
Throughout the last seven years, Mr. Roth has frequently interned for Patrick Anderson & Associates during his summer vacations. The firm’s mission resonates strongly with his own values, in a professional, moral, and humanitarian sense, and is commensurate with Mr. Roth’s motivation for becoming a criminal defense attorney. Mr. Roth joined the firm as an associate attorney in November of 2018.
Mr. Roth has been passionate about criminal defense and the importance of constitutional protections of individual rights for as long as he can remember. Mr. Roth believes that nothing less than a whole-hearted commitment to zealous and unmitigated representation of his clients is appropriate, and he has made it his life’s work to provide such representation.
