Two teens were killed and three more were injured in a single car accident Friday evening in Howard County.
According to reports, 18-year-old Dale Kirk Audet II of Lithicum was driving a Pontiac GT on Lawyer’s Hill Road when he apparently lost control, crossed the eastbound lanes and hit a tree.
Two of the passengers were killed and the driver and two other passengers were injured and taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The two men killed were not wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.
Officials said they believe speed was a factor in the crash and the incident is still under investigation.
