A Pakistani man living in Woodrbidge was sentenced to 12 years in prison for aiding terrorists.
According to reports, Jubair Ahmad, 24, pleaded guilty in December to charges he created a propaganda video for a terrorists group known as Lashkar-e-Tayyiba, or LeT. The video featured the terrorist group’s leader and founder, Hafiz Mohammad Saeed and was produced by Ahmad.
The group has been accused of organizing the Mumbai attacks in 2008, which killed 166 people.
In addition to the 12 years of prison, Ahmad will also have five years of probation.
