A Germantown man was sentenced to 14 months in prison Monday after he killed another man on Key Bridge while he was driving drunk a year ago.
According to reports, Anthony Randolph, 41, hit and killed 23-year-old Pineda-Medrano of Arlington February 27, 2011. Pineda-Medrano was trying to start up his moped that had stalled when Randolph hit him with a SUV. Randolph stopped momentarily, then took off. Bystanders recorded the plates and police stopped him a short time later.
Randolph pleaded guilty in November to negligent homicide, operating while impaired and leaving the scene of a collision that caused personal injury.
